Ms. McKevitt has been teaching first grade at St. Cajetan since 2012 and describes this academic level as a year of discovery and adventure for her students. She holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from St. Mary’s College and is endorsed in Exceptional Needs: Mild Intervention and Reading. One of Ms. McKevitt’s most rewarding experiences as an educator was during her college years when she was able to travel abroad twice. She traveled to both Rome, Italy and then to Kyarusozi, Uganda to teach first and second-grade students at Moreau Primary School.  Both experiences proved extremely rewarding and have helped shape her love of teaching today.

Ms. McKevitt enjoys nothing more than time with her family and her dogs.  She is an avid runner and reader.  She instills a love of learning in her students by always remaining well educated and up to date on the latest eduactional initiatives and technology.
