• Chromebook Policies

For a complete overview of the St. Cajetan Chromebook Policy please visit the Acceptable Chromebook Doc

All students are expected to be in compliance with the St. Cajetan Technology Policy located in the school handbook.

    Games:

Games are not permitted during school hours on Chromebooks. Gameplay will result in a student relations tally. Excessive tallies for games during school will result in Chromebook suspension. Outside of school, students are free to play other games as long as they are appropriate. It is important to remember that Chromebooks are intended for educational purposes and should be used as such.

    Reporting Material:

While we have many filters and blocks in place, students may stumble upon inappropriate content. If that occurs students have 24 hours to report inappropriate material they may find while using their chromebooks. They can report this material directly to a teacher or e-mail a teacher. Failure to report inappropriate content will result in a Student Relations Tally. Repeat offenders may be subject to further disciplinary action. Click to access the Reporting Inappropriate Content Doc

    Loaners:

If a student forgets their Chromebook at home/forgets to charge their Chromebook they need to come to the Computer Lab to rent a loaner. Students must come to the lab before 8 AM to receive a loaner. Students will be asked to sign a Chromebook Loaner Agreement and receive an Academic Readiness Tally. Click to view the Chromebook Loaner Agreement

    Printing:

In most cases, Chromebooks are unable to print directly to a home printer. If a student needs something printed from their Chromebook they have a couple of options. Sign into their @cajetan.org e-mail address from a home computer that is connected to a printer and print from home. Students may also come to the Computer Lab between 7AM-7:45 AM & 2:15 PM-3 PM daily (Subject to change based on state and federal health guidelines)

    Music:

Students are asked not to listen to music during school. Failing to abide by this policy will result in a Student Relations Tally. Outside of school students may listen to music but they should keep in mind that any music listened to should be appropriate.
